Natural light is light that come from the sun through direct or indirect.
The advantages of natural light are:

- Powerful
- Suitable for multiple subjects
- varies according to weather
The disadvantages of natural light are:
- Difficult to control
- Varies according to time of the day
- Varies according to weather
The artificial light is any light that does not come from the sun. Artificial light falls in to two categories are:
- Flash/strobe
Advantage
- More powerful
- Good power to size ratio
- Daylight balanced
Disadvantage
- Expensive
- More complicated to use
- Continuous
Advantage
- More affordable
- Easier to use, quicker to set up
- DIY friendly
- Can be used for video
Disadvantage
- Not as powerful
- Won’t freeze movement
- Colour temperature varies
- Hotter than the sun
